In Central Pennsylvania the classical America can be found. Old Victorian cities and villages are laid out across the country side like a pearl necklace. The region of the “Dutch Country Roads” reflects the extremes of the USA where rich citizens cruise along the streets in their luxurious limousines while passing shopping malls, Outlet-Centers and amusement parks and in the middle of it all Amish People drudge on their farms. Markets and antique shops offer a wide range of individual souvenirs. You can take a ride on an old steam train, visit a closed coal mine or discover one of the historic American breweries.
