Tasmania Island is situated at the south east end of Australia. The Bass Strait separates Tasmania Island from Australia. Tasmania Island has a population of 500,000 inhabitants. Leaving from Melbourne, you will arrive in Devonport on Tasmania Island with the “Spirit of Tasmania” ferry. You can take your rental car there. It is recommended that you spend at least a week in order to fully enjoy the beauty of the Australian “Natural State”.Within Devonport vicinities, there is a must-see attraction: the observation of the penguins.
