But the most impressive wonder of the region is the forest in the center of the national park Wollemi, discovered in 1994 only. The Wollemi pines that grow in this forest are of rare specie. The origin goes back to 200 million years. The park is difficult to access for the visitors because of the measures put in place to protect its unique vegetation which encompasses rare species. Nevertheless it is possible to access the cliffs called the Three Sisters which are one of the principal attractions of the Blue Mountains. They rise up to the sky like three sharp teeth. According to the legend, they symbolize three sisters who once upon a time transformed themselves into stone to protect themselves. They symbolize the most famous park and are worth a detour!

You will experience how driving in the New South Wales is a real pleasure. One of the most attractive roads is the Grand Pacific Drive that edges the coast. You will drive through several tropical forests; you will be dazzled by the view over the sea. The height of the itinerary is on the Sea Cliff Bridge which treadles the ocean and edges the cliffs. The road on the Grand Pacific Drive stretches itself on 100 miles.
