Language Holidays

Can you say “holiday” in English, Spanish, French or Chinese? If you can remember back to school days……For the majority,  a foreign language had to be learnt as part of the curriculum or maybe as an adult, you decided to enrol in a language course. What ever method used to learn a language, we can all agree that it can sometimes be difficult to apply what you have learnt and communicate in the land of the target language. Therefore we believe the most effective way to learn a language, is to study it in the land in which it is spoken

Recently, there has been a growth of interest surrounding “Language Holidays”, especially among young people. Not only is there the possibility to brush up on an existing language, this kind of holidays give the opportunity to learn new languages, enjoy new cultures and experience different ways of life.

Nowadays, no matter where you travel, it’s clear that a vast majority of people can speak English. However, why limit yourself? Enjoy your holiday to the fullest and expand your horizons. For example, not only is it useful to go on a language holiday to Spain and learn Spanish, but you will also benefit from being able to communicate in a number of Latin American countries.

If you wish to further challenge yourself, take a trip to China. The Chinese language is becoming more and more popular, not only for its challenges but also business developments have highlighted the importance of having this skill. I can assure you that if you decided to explore China, you will be fascinated not only by the language but also by the culture.

So… Where to first?
